Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)
Work towards a professional standard of flying with a Commercial Pilot Licence pathway.
Your training pathway
CPL training develops precision, sound judgement and disciplined flight management. The pathway brings together practical instruction, experience building and assessment preparation, with your existing qualifications considered when planning your training.
What training covers
- Accurate aircraft handling and flight management
- Operational planning and navigation
- Risk management and professional decision-making
- Abnormal procedures and commercial flight test preparation

Key steps
- 01
Review your qualifications, experience and training goals.
- 02
Confirm the applicable licence requirements and training sequence.
- 03
Develop and consolidate flying skills to the required standard.
- 04
Prepare for the required assessments and commercial flight test.
Planning your training
